Volleyball battles for 2 big wins
If volleyball fans were looking for a highly energized and intense homecoming matchup last Friday, they were not disappointed.
The Holyoke High School varsity volleyball team pulled off a win in four sets against Highland Sept. 27.
“They were battling,” said coach Michelle Vieselmeyer, pointing out the girls’ determination and hustle on their home court.
The Lady Dragons started off their homecoming week with a four-set win over Akron Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Ending the week with two big wins under their belt, Holyoke now looks ahead to their match with Yuma at home this Friday. Vieselmeyer said she’s excited to see how the girls do against the reigning state champions.
