Two Holyoke athletes were recently part of the Buckley Bombers baseball team that represented the Midwest Plains region in the 16-18-year-old Babe Ruth World Series. Jesus Trejo, a 2019 graduate of Holyoke High School, and Seth Watson, an HHS senior, traveled with the Bombers to Mobile, Alabama, for the Aug. 2-9 series.

Representing the Southeast region, Florida faced the Bombers on Monday. Florida won 4-1. In their final game, the Bombers played the Mobile team Tuesday. Mobile won 10-0 in five innings.
