Wrestlers gain tournament experience at Hershey, Limon

Holyoke wrestlers gained valuable experience on the mat at the JV tournament in Hershey, Nebraska, on Thursday, Dec. 9, and at the Limon Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 11.
Pointing out that it’s still early in the season and they’re wrestling well, assistant coach Parker Redfern said that overall he’s very happy with how they’re performing.
“I was very pleased with the way they wrestled,” he said. “We have to keep getting more mat time and keep drilling in the room to get rid of those little mistakes.”
Redfern said the team is young and continues to get experience on the mat.
