Wiebke appointed to hospital board
Julie Wiebke was appointed to the East Phillips County Hospital District Board of Directors at its March 23 regular meeting. She will be sworn in at the next meeting.

Friends of Hans Heinrich “Paul” Renck are pictured in Holyoke around 1915. Paul was born in Germany and married Elisabeth “Elise” (Kayser) Renck in Julesburg on Oct. 2, 1900. Their first two children, Walter and Clara, were born in Venango, Nebraska. Their last three children, Anna, Charles and Robert, were born in Holyoke. Walter, the oldest child, was killed in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake when the family was visiting Elise’s parents. — Source: Phillips County Museum
