Democratic candidate for governor Mike Johnston visited Holyoke on Monday, March 12. He had heard the inspiring story of Los Parra’s owner Jaime Parra and wanted meet him in person.

HPD struggles to hire 5th officer
Though the go-ahead to pursue a fifth officer was given in November 2017, Holyoke Police Department hasn’t had much luck finding one.
