The couple has planned an Aug. 18, 2018, wedding at Table Mountain Vineyards in Torrington, Wyoming.
Eric Conklin’s carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is a compilation of several recipes from local charity cookbooks. The recipe won first place at the 2007 Phillips County Fair.
The local Agenda Club was host to exchange student Julia Pagola on March 20 at the 71st anniversary gathering.
This photo shows a view of the Sutherland home, looking north on Baxter Avenue in Holyoke, around 1900. Herbert and Janet Sutherland moved to Holyoke in 1887, and Herbert owned and operated the lumber yard for 21 years before retiring in 1908.
