Border league baseball wrapped up the summer season this last weekend with tournaments in Chappell, Nebraska, June 27-29.
While the previous meet was cut short due to cold weather, the June 29 Northwest Kansas Swim League meet in Oakley, Kansas, was a scorcher.
Holyoke swimmers and their families spending the night in Colby, Kansas, prior to the June 22 swim meet awoke to something rather unusual: an earthquake.
Tournaments for the Border League peewee, Little League and Babe Ruth teams are Thursday-Saturday, June 27-29. All games will be played in Chappell, Nebraska.
