Students in the Dance Fuzion classes at Holyoke Fitness Club showed off what they’ve been working on at a Dec. 11 Christmas dance recital at the Holyoke High School auditorium.

Two close games brought home a 60-53 victory over Haxtun and a 49-52 loss to Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, for Holyoke girls basketball last Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14-15.

Close games are the most fun to watch, and the energy in the Haxtun gym was palpable as the basketball teams faced off Dec. 14.
It wasn’t much of a contest in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, between the Dragons and the Hornets last Saturday, Dec. 15. The home team won 85-33.
Seven Holyoke wrestlers competed well in the Dec. 15 Bob Smith Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Wray to earn 82.5 points for fourth place out of 15 teams.
