Soccer is 130 kids strong

City of Holyoke rec director Victoria Dunker said there are 130 kids age preschool through eighth grade playing soccer this year on 11 teams.

Girls ride wave of 6 straight wins to regionals

Holyoke volleyball is headed to regionals Saturday, May 1, after ending the regular season with a 10-4 record.

Members of the girls basketball team brought out the award during the gym open house after JR/SR high principal Angela Powell spoke of Baumgartner’s work and dedication. Baumgartner was recognized for all of the hard work he’s done, especially with the challenges this year in which he had to remake sports schedules on multiple occasions and keep up with frequent changes to seasons.
