Gene Hinck, newly retired from a 29-year bus driving career with the Holyoke School District, stands for a picture at his retirement party at Holyoke High. Prior to driving buses, Hinck served as a state patrol officer for 25 years, worked as a car salesman for a Ford dealership, and started an underground sprinkler installation business with his wife, ­Georgia.
