Youth shine on stage in ‘Miracle in Mudville’

It was clear to see that the future of drama is in good hands after the Phillips County Players stage production of “Miracle in Mudville” Aug. 2-4 featured mostly youth actors and actresses.

First Presbyterian Church of Holyoke was organized Sept. 23, 1893. The cornerstone for a church building was laid May 24, 1901, on the site that First Christian Church now occupies at Interocean Avenue and Furry Street. The church building was remodeled in early 1921 and closed its doors in 1961. The following year, the property was sold to Joel Biddle, who traded it to First Christian Church.
