   FCCLA recently held a barbecue to welcome back previous members and to recruit new chapter participants. The barbecue was held Aug. 25 in the high school commons area.

Many make trek to see total solar eclipse

   It may have been the first time in its history that the village of Arthur, Nebraska, had so many people there at once, and certainly it was the first time such a diverse crowd visited.
