Pictured is a woman with a dog in her lap, sitting on the steps of a cook shack, probably around 1925. The shack was pulled along with the threshing machine and was used to feed threshing crews. It was basically a kitchen on wheels and served as a dining hall during the day and sleeping quarters for the cooks at night. — Source: Phillips County Museum
