Summer officially begins Saturday, June 20, and people are itching to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather after being cooped up during the COVID-19 lockdown.
ASCS sprint cars, along with five IMCA divisions and dwarfs will be featured at Phillips County Raceway in Friday, June 19, action, beginning at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Holyoke.
A valid hunting or fishing license will be required for everyone 18 or older attempting to access any State Wildlife Area or State Trust Land leased by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, beginning July 1

Action begins as cars take turn No. 1 in Saturday night heat races at Phillips County Raceway at the fairgrounds in Holyoke. While the track usually opens in April, a later start-date had been planned from the get-go at PCR.
