Proving to be two quite evenly matched teams, Holyoke and Sedgwick County kept things interesting in high school boys basketball Dec. 14.
While no Holyoke wrestlers were placewinners at the Saturday, Dec. 14, Limon Badger Invitational, the young HHS team showed great improvement from the previous week, coach Dusty McConnell said.

From the first event to the last, with two in between, Holyoke Lady Dragons swam state-qualifying times in four events at the season opener Thursday, Dec. 5, at Eaton.
Led by senior Luis Chafino’s 170-lb. championship, the Dragon wrestlers opened the season at the St. Francis, Kansas, Gabel/Jenkins Invitational Saturday, Dec. 7.
