After a pair of hefty wins over Akron earlier in the week, Holyoke High School baseball swept another team of Rams in an April 20 doubleheader with Merino.
Dragon athletes crossed home plate 36 times last Tuesday. You read that right; they scored 36 runs in a single day.
Season-best times were secured last week by HHS students Keegan Shaw and Tristen Ferguson, competing with the Valley boys swim team.
Continuing her season streak, Holyoke girls trackster Correy Koellner won the shot put event at the Tena Invitational last Saturday, April 13.
“We didn’t have much practice under our belt with the blizzard last Wednesday and Thursday and a golf course that still had snow drifts on it Friday,” golf coach Nick Flaa said.
