Limon advances to state softball
Limon was the only District 4 softball team to make it out of regionals and advance to the state tournament in Arvada this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20.

HHS to face Brush in softball regionals at Rocky Ford

Softball sweeps homecoming games, ends 6-year postseason drought
Holyoke dominated its doubleheader against Wray last Saturday, Oct. 6, pulling down 13-6 and 16-1 victories, and advancing to postseason competition for the first time since 2012.
The looks on the Burlington blockers’ faces are a telling indication of what it’s like to go up against Holyoke’s attackers. Between Taeryn Trumper’s vertical and Kristin Vieselmeyer’s height, the Dragons routinely rack up plenty of kills. Trumper, who is pictured in Friday’s first set, posted nine kills in 25 attacks at the Oct. 5 homecoming match. — Johnson Publications
