Friday, Oct. 12, marked both parents night and the last home game for the Holyoke High School football team, and the Dragons didn’t disappoint, beating the Wray Eagles 30-14.
Limon was the only District 4 softball team to make it out of regionals and advance to the state tournament in Arvada this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20.
For the first time since 2012, the Holyoke High School softball team qualified for postseason play, headed to 3A regional action in Rocky Ford Saturday, Oct. 13.
Holyoke dominated its doubleheader against Wray last Saturday, Oct. 6, pulling down 13-6 and 16-1 victories, and advancing to postseason competition for the first time since 2012.
