Lali Marquez blasts through the water in her butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay as it qualifies for 3A state competition at the Friday-Saturday Tri-Valley Conference meet. Marquez also qualified in the 100-yard butterfly as well as for the 50-yard freestyle at the meet.

    “Tiny but mighty” is the adopted slogan of the smallest school swim team in the 3A conference, and truer words were never said.

Boys hack up another W

    Despite uncertain circumstances healthwise in light of the recent flu outbreak, Holyoke boys basketball took another solid league victory Saturday, Feb. 4, this time 61-40 over Akron.
