This summer, the City recreation department teamed up with golf instructor Brent Vasa to offer golf clinics for local youth.

Local dirt track racing fans flocked to the Independence Day Showdown at Phillips County Raceway on July 4. It was a hot and dusty Fourth for fans at the Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, with live music and fireworks setting the stage for six divisions of dirt track racing.
On June 30 in Wray, Holyoke Swim Club competed in the last regular season meet of the Northwest Kansas Swim League, taking second place overall.
