Dragon baseball will be on the road this weekend, traveling to Pueblo to play in round one of the 2A regional/state tournament scheduled May 19-20.
Seth Watson beats Haxtun’s catcher in a race to home plate. After pinch hitter Caleb Deaver got on first with a single, Watson advanced to third on Jesus Trejo’s double. Finally, Brendan Mayden hit a sacrifice fly to bring Watson home in a run that was truly a team effort.
