Boys earn No. 1 seed
Holyoke boys entered district play as the No. 1 seed after defeating Yuma 66-41 Tuesday, Feb. 14, at home and Wray 56-41 Friday, Feb. 17, on the road.

It was a replay of two games earlier in the season, but this time district rankings were on the line.
Class 2A District 2 basketball tournament action began Tuesday, Feb. 21, with the Holyoke boys and girls teams hoping to secure spots in the upcoming regional brackets.
Holyoke JH girls basketball finished the 2017 season as back-to-back league champs after defeating Merino 27-16 on the road Tuesday, Feb. 14.
