In an event added to the Dragon sports schedule, C boys basketball played in a triangular in Ovid Monday, Feb. 6, with Sedgwick County and Garden County, Nebraska.

McCallum wins moms’ free throw
Ranae McCallum, mother of HHS senior basketball player Wyatt McCallum, took top honors in the mothers’ free throw contest at the Thursday, Feb. 9, home basketball game.

Lali Marquez blasts through the water in her butterfly leg of the 200-yard medley relay as it qualifies for 3A state competition at the Friday-Saturday Tri-Valley Conference meet. Marquez also qualified in the 100-yard butterfly as well as for the 50-yard freestyle at the meet.

Despite uncertain circumstances healthwise in light of the recent flu outbreak, Holyoke boys basketball took another solid league victory Saturday, Feb. 4, this time 61-40 over Akron.
