Kailar Hayes, pictured at right, represents University of Denver while competing as a white belt in the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association’s 2023 National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships at CU Boulder on Saturday, April 15. He placed third in his belt class at the national competition in his first year of taekwondo, after training with club DU Taekwondo throughout the school year.
