Track team faces competition in Wray

Holyoke hosted Haxtun’s Relay Meet on Friday, April 28, at Max Bernard’s Field. Overall, Holyoke broke 20 personal records; some students even broke records at a state level.
The Holyoke girls golf team won its third tournament in four tries last week, claiming top honors at the Yuma Invite last Monday.
Phillips County Raceway held its season opener last weekend, April 28-29.

Kailar Hayes, pictured at right, represents University of Denver while competing as a white belt in the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association’s 2023 National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships at CU Boulder on Saturday, April 15. He placed third in his belt class at the national competition in his first year of taekwondo, after training with club DU Taekwondo throughout the school year.
