Louise and Ralph Ewegen are pictured with their children, from left, Eugene “Corky” Feldman, Robert Ewegen and Sandra Ewegen. Ralph was 1 year old when the Ewegen family moved from Crete, Nebraska, to Amherst in 1910. Ralph and Louise were married in 1940, and Ralph joined the Army in 1944.
