As is tradition, Holyoke Elementary students were the lucky recipients of pumpkins at the end of the school day Oct. 21. For kindergartners like Linkoln Baker, who proudly hoists his pumpkin into the air for all to see, the custom is still especially new and exciting. This year’s pumpkins, which were grown at Pumpkins and More A-maiz-ing Farm, were sponsored by Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union, First Pioneer National Bank, CHS Grainland, PC Telcom, Bank of the West and Bank of Colorado. — The Holyoke Enterprise | Johnson Publications
