Thomas and Lena Lane lived on a homestead 7 miles southwest of Holyoke for 14 years following their marriage in 1892, where Thomas was engaged in farming and stock raising. From 1906 to 1924, they lived near the homestead on what was known as Lane Ranch. The couple left the farm and moved to Haxtun in 1924. — source: Phillips County Museum
