Phillips County Treasurer Linda L. Statz was re-elected secretary of the Colorado County Treasurers’ Association at its annual conference Wednesday, June 20, in Steamboat Springs.

The horse-drawn wagon pictured in front is the J.W. Young dray. James W. Young went into the dray line business in 1899 and was also a dealer in coal, kerosene, gasoline and ice. The lumber company building in the background was one of the 80 businesses in existence at the time of Holyoke’s incorporation in 1888. — Source: Phillips County Museum
