Colver Brothers Hardware, Furniture and Undertaking was established when brothers O.J. Colver and H.L. Colver bought the business at 123 S. Interocean Ave. from George W. Shuler on Nov. 28, 1908. The business was originally established April 24, 1889, by J.R. Reiff. Colver Brothers operated out of the first structure erected on the site for nine years and built a new brick building in 1917. All three areas of the business were conducted at this location until 1936 when the undertaking part was moved to the O.J. Colver residence at 241 E. Furry St. — source: Phillips County Museum
