HJHS boys basketball won the east-west league championship to end the season. The Dragons slaughtered Merino 47-10 in the Tuesday, Dec. 12, ballgame at Merino.

It was an exciting season home opener as HHS girls varsity basketball defeated Fleming 51-34 Saturday, Dec. 2.
