Pictured at the George King residence, from left, are Mrs. Hotaling, three unknown people, Ann (King) Wright, Katie Webermeier, Mrs. Miles, Carrie (King) Wilson and Florence (Trego) Kepler. Wilson lived with her brother George for a time and passed away at his home. King was born in England in 1859 and came to Peoria, Illinois, with his family. He and his wife established their home in Holyoke in 1900. He was a saddle and harness maker and formed a partnership with Sam Thompson. After selling the business, he was a member of the town board and was a strong supporter of civic improvement projects. — Source: Phillips County Museum
