Phillips County’s second courthouse was the former B&M Eating House,  purchased from the B&M Railway in November 1903 for $3,000. The building was moved in two sections by a team of horses from its location east of the depot to courthouse square. It was razed in mid-1935 to make way for construction of the present courthouse. — Source: Phillips County Museum
