LPAA looking to set JH sport schedule
A seasons proposal for junior high sports in the Lower Platte Activities Association was compiled by league athletic directors in an Aug. 11 in-person meeting in Merino.

Golfers to host Friday invitational
With another week of high school boys golf checked off the schedule, the Dragons will host the Holyoke Invitational on Friday, Aug. 28, starting at 10 a.m. at Holyoke Golf Course.
Golfers improve at Yuma Invite
Dragon golfers improved from the season opener, turning in a 307 at the Yuma Invite Friday, Aug. 14.
CHSAA designates 4 seasons; football, volleyball moved to spring
Four high school sports seasons for 2020-21 were designated by Colorado High School Activities Association as approved by the state’s COVID response team Aug. 4.
