|JV boys pick up two more wins; sit at 11-1|

HHS boys’ jayvee basketball picked up another pair of wins with victories over Akron and Chase County.
The two wins improve their record to 11-1.
Holyoke JV 59, Akron 21
Holyoke jumped out to a commanding 18-1 lead over the Rams after the first quarter. The Dragons never let up as they were able to come away with the 59-21 win.
All 12 players scored for Holyoke. Jaydin Goldenstein led with 12, Alex Quintana nine, Austin Killin seven, Chris Bieber six, Willie Greenman and Seth Baker each with five, Cody Fricke and Jeremy Loutensock each with four, Deyten Klein three, Bradley Coyne two and Logan Zeiler and Brett Cumming each with one.
The Dragons finished 12-23 from the free throw line.
Holyoke JV 62, Chase Co. 49
A 62-49 victory over the Chase County Longhorns didn’t come easy. The game stayed close through three quarters. The Longhorns held a one-point advantage heading into the final stanza. Numerous trips to the free throw line helped Holyoke pull away with the win. They outscored Chase County 27-13 in the final period.
Goldenstein led with 15 points followed by Quintana and Greenman each with 12. Baker added eight, Killin six, Cumming four, Fricke three and Loutensock with two.
The Dragons finished 26-44 from the charity stripe.
