|Clocktower, time capsule to be unveiled|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Tightly connected to recent work done at Melissa Memorial Hospital is the Holyoke Future Business Leaders of America chapter. For five years FBLA has partnered with MMH to add a clocktower at the hospital grounds.
Thanks to a great amount of community support, the clocktower and time capsule are now ready to be ceremonially unveiled. Before the 50th anniversary celebration at the hospital, the community is invited to the unveiling at 5 p.m. outside the hospital at 1001 E. Johnson St.
The clock tower is meant to serve as a symbol of the time the community has committed to quality healthcare. The time capsule will give community members 50 years in the future a glimpse of life in 2010. Individuals have also contributed their predictions of what healthcare will look like in 50 years, and it will certainly be interesting to see how the forecasts compare to reality.
