|RRWCD to hold meeting Jan. 13|

The board of directors of the Republican River Water Conservation District (RRWCD) will be holding its regular quarterly meeting in Burlington Thursday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Items on the agenda include: approval of minutes; approval of quarterly financials; reports on various meetings and programs; review of the Compact Compliance Pipeline schedule and presentation by GEI Consultants, Inc.; review and approval of adjustments: amendment to the GEI Consultant, Inc. contract.
Designation of public places for posting notice of RRWCD meetings; consideration of potential Washington D.C. legislative trip; review and approval of newspaper notice for the position of general manager; review and approval of rate proposals from professional associates; consideration of action to prevent diversions by water rights that have been abandoned; and assessment of committee assignments.
Public comment will be held at 1 p.m.
If necessary, the board of directors will hold an executive session to develop a strategy for negotiations for the purchase, acquisition or lease of water rights, easements and property, to receive advice on legal questions and to discuss personnel matters.
