|Holyoke hosts honor band|

Twelve Holyoke students participated in the 49th annual honor band in Holyoke Monday, Jan. 21. High schoolers who auditioned and participated in the honor band are pictured above, from left, front row, Ben Martinez, percussion; Alyssa Cordova, percussion; and Camille Elliott, tenor sax; and back row, A.J. Peter Toews conducted the high school for “Fanfare for the Third Planet,” “Canto,” “Nessun Dorma” and “March of the Buccaneers.” The junior high, under the direction of Phuong Nguyen, played “Glorioso,” “Crusade,” “The Red Balloon” and “Defying Gravity.”
