|Sluggers baseball team stays active|

The Holyoke Sluggers 10-11-year-old travel baseball team continued their busy schedule with a tournament in Brush Saturday, June 15.
The tournament started off on a high note as the Sluggers beat Fort Morgan 19-9.
Caleb Mason and Xander Speicher combined to give up six hits, seven walks and strike out six batters in the match.
Mason had a great game at the plate, recording three singles and a double. Miles Sprague also put together a nice performance with a pair of doubles and a single while Blake Mosenteen had three singles.
In the next match the Sluggers fell to Sterling 13-4.
Mosenteen and Trevor Peterson each had time on the mound for Holyoke, combining to allow 13 hits, two walks with one strike out.
Sprague led Holyoke with a pair of doubles offensively.
For the final game of the tournament, Holyoke fell to Yuma 6-2.
Mosenteen and Jesus Trejo Arvizo pitched for Holyoke, allowing seven hits, one walk and striking out two batters.
Mosenteen had a double and single to lead Sluggers.
The Sluggers will return to action for a Yuma tournament after a two-week break.
