Phillips Co. Arts Council brings Mack Bailey to town PDF Print E-mail

Folk sensation Mack Bailey will fill the Holyoke High School auditorium with his combination of folk and pop music Thursday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is made possible by the Phillips County Arts Council as part of the 2013-14 concert season.

A lot can be said about the musical company singer/songwriter Mack Bailey keeps.

Bailey has earned praise from Glenn Yarbrough, the original tenor in the fabulous world-renowned folk trio The Limeliters. Yarbrough referred to Bailey as “the next great singer in folk music.” Bailey’s career came full circle when in 2004 he was asked to be the newest tenor in The Limeliters, with whom he now performs around the country.
