AWANA club members were recognized at a year-end program Wednesday, April 30, at First Baptist Church in Holyoke.
AWANA is a non-denominational children’s ministry for preschool through sixth-grade youth. It meets weekly from October through April in Holyoke and includes Bible verse memorization, game time and story time.
Mac Macaulay led the group in prayer, and Dr. Darrell Tomky gave a spiritual message encouraging the youth to tell everyone how to get to heaven—believe in Jesus Christ.
