|4-H and FFA honor seniors|

In the midst of the Phillips County Fair, graduating seniors who are completing their last year as 4-H or FFA members are being recognized.
Gade Groshans of Haxtun has been an active FFA member throughout all four years of high school. He received the Greenhand and Star Chapter Farmer awards. He was also involved in National Art Honor Society for two years, and served as vice president.
Joshua Larson of Haxtun participated in FFA for four years. He was also in FCCLA for four years, where he served as president. Other extracurricular activities include four years in FBLA and three years in EPYCS.
Brandt Northrup of Haxtun was in FFA for four years throughout high school, and received the Greenhand award and a chapter degree. He also participated in EPYCS for one year.
Krista Schafer of Holyoke is an 11-year member of Holyoke Centennial 4-H club, and is currently president of the Phillips County 4-H Council. She participated in LDC and Citizenship Washington Focus. Her favorite part has been her leathercraft projects.
