Kreider joins Enterprise staff PDF Print E-mail
Written by Holyoke Enterprise

Isaac Kreider joins the Holyoke Enterprise staff this week as a general-assignment reporter.

A welcome addition to the news staff, Kreider will cover some sports, City Council, East Phillips County Hospital District and other varied news/feature writing and photography assignments.

He fills the position that opened recently with the resignation of Kyle Arnoldy, who will be seeking his alternative teacher licensure as he teaches in the Lone Star School District. Arnoldy and his wife Jodi plan to continue to reside in Holyoke.

Kreider, 28, a 2005 HHS graduate, graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications (news-editorial) from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley in May of 2010.

He served as copy editor, arts and entertainment assistant editor and reporter for the UNC Mirror during his undergraduate college program. That experience played an integral part in his consideration for the reporter position at the Enterprise.

Kreider said his involvement in the video yearbook class at HHS and visual journalism courses at UNC broadened his perspective on the field and piqued his interest.
