Alex O. Pargas was born Aug. 30, 1960 and died suddenly April 2, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Pargas in 1999.

He is survived by his father, Ramon Pargas Jr. of San Antonio; brothers, Mauricio Pargas and wife Karla of Holyoke and Tony Pargas and wife Marty of Rowlette, Texas; sisters, Thelma Sanchez and husband Raul of Pasadena, Texas and Delma Vinton and husband Elvis of Pearsall, Texas; six nephews; and one niece.

Services were held April 7 at Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall, Texas with burial in Veterans Cemetery in Pearsall.
