Holyoke came away with a win and a loss in softball action at Alliance, Nebraska, Thursday, Oct. 1. The Dragons prevailed 13-9 in game one and fell 8-1 in game two.
Saturday’s softball games ended with two Dragon losses to the Limon Badgers, the games ending in four innings with the scores of 15-2 and 14-0.
With the announcement last week that Holyoke High School will be playing football this fall, the scramble began to find officials and schedule games on the dates that Colorado High School Activitie
Holyoke Junior High will be playing football this season after all.
The Dragons will play three league games, then will compete in the Border League tournament.
